I'm not quite sure how this band came about or even why we recorded a demo! At the time we were gigging with various jazz quartets at places like the Sandwich Bar in Union Street, Reading, and Bukowskis on Gun Street. The line up for these gigs was always different - but the core was always Tony on bass, Neil Gimson on keyboards, and myself on Tenor Sax. From the various quartet gigs we did, Neil and I did a duo at The Griffin in Reading on Sunday lunchtimes - sometimes joined by Tony on bass... aah the memories (...ouch my chops!). The demo has Brian Greene on drums.
